The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture (Arts and Culture) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for a contract with an individual or organization that can develop a draft Countywide Tribal Consultation Policy (Policy) and Implementation Plan (Plan) for the LA County Board of Supervisors (Board) to consider adopting for LA County (County). The Policy will provide a framework for the County to establish and maintain effective and consistent government-to-government relationships and engage in meaningful consultation with California Native American Tribes with ancestral and cultural ties to the County.
