Statistical Revaluation of Real Property for the October 1, 2026 Grand List

The City of New Haven seeks the services of a professional revaluation firm certified in the State of Connecticut to perform the revaluation of all real property in the City as of October 1, 2026.

Estimated population - 139,000.

Area of the City - 20.13 Square Miles

The City’s last revaluation, a full inspection revaluation, was completed for the October 1, 2021 Grand List. The revaluation was performed using Vision Government Solutions Inc (VGSI) software. The City will engage a certified revaluation company to assist with updating assessments to reflect 70% of October 1, 2026 market value.

The October 1, 2026 revaluation will be initiated using New Haven’s existing CAMA system, VGSI version 8.2.14. The City will provide access, remotely and on site to the CAMA system by using one dedicated licensed seated workstation provided for in the City’s contract with VGSI.

The Assessor’s maps are updated annually. The City is currently using a GIS mapping program maintained by the City’s Information Technology – GIS Division. The City’s website has available all the property record information, as well as, comprehensive maps that include wetlands, flood plain, ortho imagery, and zoning data.

The City currently uses Quality Data Service for its Assessment Administration and Tax package.
