GENERAL BID SPECIFICATIONS
City of Minot, ND 58701
The City of Minot is exempt from state and federal excise and sales taxes and no amount for such taxes
are to be included in the bid price. The attached bid proposal form shall be used in submitting the bid.
The City Council reserves, to itself, the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract as it deems
necessary and in the best interest of the City of Minot. Past performance will be considered in final
decision.
Delivery of materials, supplies or services contained in the bid shall be made to the Minot Public Works
Building (1025 31st St. SE), and the price shall be FOB, Minot, North Dakota. The delivery date shall be 180
days after award and be specified on the bid.

Bids will be opened in City Council Chambers at the Minot City Hall, 10 3rd Ave. S.W., Minot, North Dakota
at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 12th, 2026. Bids received after this time will be returned, unopened,
to the bidder. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids.

GENERAL:
The sweeper to be furnished under this specification shall be the manufacturer's latest model and
design. The unit shall be single engine, three-wheel, hydrostatic vehicle drive, front dump sweeper using
all current production components.
DETAILED SPECIFICA TIONS:
The bidder shall mark the appropriate box (yes or no). If the unit does not meet the specification the
bidder shall clearly state the item that does not meet the specification and clearly explain the deviation
on a separate piece of paper. All deviations will be considered in relation to value and price. Deviations
or exceptions are intended for equipment or options that may differ from the specification. If the
manufacturer offers a specified product, it is expected to be offered in the bid.

Service & Warranty:
The vendor shall clearly indicate all warranties that are furnished with
the sweeper. Because the maintenance of this unit is essential, the
vendor shall furnish the location where a complete parts inventory is
located and other service facilities.
Manuals:
-The unit shall be furnished with an operators, service, parts and
maintenance manuals to include hydraulic and electrical schematics
and problem-solving guide (can be in book or CD form) and trouble
shooting manuals. City of Minot will receive all tech service bulletins
and updates. In addition, any software or cables required to connect
unit to a computer for diagnostic or troubleshooting shall be provided
with a USB connection to the computer user end.
