Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide Cable Services to Inmates housed at various Institutions in the Pacific Region

Deliverables:

1.1         The Contractor must provide all personnel, tools, services, supplies, materials, supervision, equipment and components or services necessary to install, operate and maintain a television signal system for the Institutions in Table 1. The Contractor must provide the service using the CATV coaxial or fibre infrastructure currently installed in the Institutions.

1.2         Within 20 business days from contract award, the Contractor must provide television signal services to the institutions. Table 1 below identifies the initial number of required outlets.

1.2.1         The number of outlets is subject to increase (additions) or decrease (deletions) at each institution identified in Table 1. The Project Authority will provide a written notice by email to the Contractor to notify them of any increase or decrease. CSC will adjust the outlets listed twice a year (once every six months), based on the annual average population count.

1.2.2         The Contractor must confirm by email receipt of a written notice from the project Authority of an increase or decrease in the number of outlets within 24 hours making reference to the Institutions named in the Project Authority's email. The additions or deletions will be effective on the 1st day of the month following the date the Contractor received the Project Authority’s email. The Project Authority will give a minimum of 14 calendar days notice before the end of the current month for changes who are to take effect the 1st day of the following month. If the Project Authority provides the written notice within less than 14 calendar days, the changes will take effect the following month.

Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
