Advertisement ofInvitation for Qualifications

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 for (RFQ 26-019 /KKJ) Professional Construction Inspection and Materials Testing Services for the Corley Diversion Project . Specifications for this project may be obtained from the Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 webpage https://dd6.org/departments/purchasing/notices-for-bid/ .

This projectwill be federally funded by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD)Department through the Texas General Land Office (GLO) via contract#24-065-004-E161. Firms shall comply with regulations governing the CDBGRegional Mitigation Program (Regulation 24 CFR 570). Applicable requirementsinclude but are not limited to compliance with the Davis-Bacon and RelatedActs, Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action,Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and contracting with small, minority, anddisadvantaged firms, as detailed in the project manual. In addition, thesuccessful Firms must ensure that employees and applicants for employment arenot discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexualidentity, gender identity, or national origin.

All interested firms shallobtain a “Request for Qualifications” packet from the Jefferson County DrainageDistrict No. 6 web site at https://dd6.org/departments/purchasing/notices-for-bid/ or request a copy via email to kjohnson@dd6.org .

All responses shall be submitted with anoriginal and three (3) copies of their qualifications to the address shownbelow. The District does not accept qualifications electronically. Latesubmittals will be rejected as non-responsive. Qualifications will be publicly opened and only the names of responding firms will beread aloud at the Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 facilities at thetime and date below. Firms are invited to attend the sealed opening.
