Synopsis:
The City of Saskatoon is requesting proposals for engineering consulting services to support the reinstatement of recently failed fall arrest equipment at Saskatoon Water facilities, including the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The selected consultant will provide all required technical documentation and professional assessments necessary to return the fall arrest systems to safe operational use. This includes preparing engineering drawings, conducting on-site inspections, performing system evaluations, completing re-certification activities, and developing a comprehensive repair and reinstatement plan. All work must comply with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and relevant safety guidelines to ensure the fall arrest systems can be fully recertified and restored to service. All respondents must register on the City’s electronic bidding system at saskatoon.bidsandtenders.ca . This will enable the respondent to download the solicitation document, ask questions, receive addenda and email notifications, and submit their bid through the bidding system.
