INVITATION TO BID
2025 Dirt Roads Paving Project

1.        Sealed bid proposals for the 2025 Dirt Roads Paving Project will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Bryan County Public Works Building located at 500 Ledford Street, Pembroke, Georgia 31321 at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Prior to the bid opening sealed bids may be delivered to the Public Works Office located at the above address Monday ¿ Friday during normal business hours from 7:00 A.M to 3:30pm. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the address above.

2.        Bryan County is soliciting bids from experienced and qualified General Contractors who are interested in submitting a proposal and entering into a contract for the various types of road improvement work including but not limited to installation of asphalt milling, base repair, asphalt paving striping and shoulder reconstruction.

3.        Bid documents may be acquired by requesting via an email to the individual below.

4.        Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder upon award of the contract. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond.

5.        Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the County to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
