Phase 2 Trail Improvements McKissic Creek Park Trail and Allen Road Trail

SEALED PROPOSALS will be received on behalf of the City of Centerton at the office of Halff Associates Inc., (2407 SE Cottonwood Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712) and read aloud at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, for the Phase 2 Trail Improvements McKissic Creek Park Trail and Allen Road Trail project. The proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument equivalent to five (5) percent of the amount of the bid.

THE PROJECT includes, but is not limited to the following general items of work:

The construction of a concrete multi-use trail, adjustment of sanitary sewer manholes and storm drain inlet, installation of reinforced concrete pipe and flared end sections, installation of fencing, excavation and grading to accomplish these improvements, final site stabilization and other miscellaneous tasks. The project will generally start at the northern end of the existing trail near the McKissic Creek bridge and terminate near the southwest corner of the intersection of Allen Road and Town Vue Road. A smaller side trail will be constructed from the existing trail in the McKissic Creek Park westward to a connection at the intersection of Kate Drive and McKissic Spring Road.

THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE at the office of the ENGINEER, Halff Associates, Inc. at 2407 SE Cottonwood Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712 and may also be obtained through QuestCDN.com (Quest Number 10215369) for $22.00. It is the downloader's responsibility to determine that a complete set of Bid Documents, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders, are received. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday June 2, 2026. Details available on request; contact information is available in the Bid Documents. All bidder questions must be submitted no later than 10:00AM on Wednesday June 10, 2026.

The City of Centerton hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.

Build America, Buy America provisions apply to this project.

Registration and good standing in the System for Award Management (SAM) will be required prior to contract execution.

Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the entire bid amount as set out in the Instructions to Bidders.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities in the bidding forms. Late Bids will not be considered.

No bid may be withdrawn within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
