Hello – County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for Torch Cutting Safety Training. After reviewing the information contained in the attachment, please submit all items requested with the Request for Proposals (RFP) by email to sarbarajas@dpw.lacounty.gov or by fax to (626) 282-8312 no later than Friday, February 21, 2025. All bid proposals must be on company letterhead. Late and/or incomplete proposals may not be accepted. Vendors must be a registered County Vendor. You can register at http://camisvr.co.la.ca.us/LACOBids/ IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are unable to participate in this solicitation, please submit a “No Bid” response to sarbarajas@dpw.lacounty.gov. Proposals will examined in accordance with the goals and objectives outlined in this RFP and will be evaluated to determine if training curriculum, manuals, approach, experience and qualifications demonstrate that the Proposer is likely to meet or exceed expectations. Vendor must clearly demonstrate compliance with requirements: • Bid Proposal and Quality/Depth of Training Content • Costs • Resumes showing experience of trainers, trainer’s qualifications, experience training employees, and trainer’s experiences and knowledge of electrical safety associated with protective devices and equipment. • Company information to include length of time in business of training and employee education and number of references specified in Section 10. • Responsiveness to each and every proposal requirement in this bid solicitation. Proposals failing to meet Minimum Mandatory Requirements or incomplete proposals may be deemed non-responsive and could be disqualified. • Presentation (top candidates may be asked to provide a demonstration of the training) Contact me with any questions.
