Image Distortion Phantom

Roswell Park is soliciting competitive proposals for an image distortion phantom that is best suitable for the Gamma Knife Program at Roswell Park. An image distortion phantom for a Leksell Gamma Knife is a specialized quality assurance (QA) tool used to verify the geometric accuracy of medical imaging systems used in Gamma Knife radiosurgery. These phantoms ensure that any image distortions are detected and corrected before treatment planning, where precision is critical. The Leksell Gamma Knife delivers extremely high-dose radiation to sub-millimeter targets (like brain tumors, AVMs, or trigeminal neuralgia). This level of precision demands accurate image-based localization of targets and critical structures and thus requires focused QA.

The successful bidder will be required to deliver the hardware, implement the selected software, provide software acceptance testing, and train RPCCC personnel in the use of the software. As part of its proposed offering, the successful bidder will provide post-warranty maintenance and support services for the software and hardware for the initial and each renewal term of the Resultant Agreement (both purchase and service agreement). It is also expected that the proposed pricing being offered will remain in effect throughout the term of the agreement.
