This solicitation for Consolidated Laundry and Linen Services are in support of Altus Air Force Base, OK and Naval Hospital Corpus Chrisit and its outlier locations in Fort Worth and Kingsville, Texas. This is a follow-on procurement for both locations.
The laundry and linen services requirements are detailed in the performance work statement (PWS) but include/are not limited to: pick-up (items and quantity documented), properly packed and handled, laundered, and delivered (items and quantity documented as well as individually bagged based on the item). The laundry facility and service to be provided must meet the same standards that would be required of a medical laundry facility on a DoD installation in accordance with (IAW) Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APlC) Text of Infection Control and Epidemiology 2005 (Section 103 Laundry, Linens and Textiles), Medical Group Instruction (MDGI) 44-106 Infection and Exposure Control Program, as well as infection control procedures set forth by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
