ITQ - NOAB - On-Call Plumbing

The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide
on-call plumbing services at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
1. Backflow Inspections and Repairs
• Perform annual inspections and testing of backflow preventers.
• Complete necessary repairs and replacements as requested.
2. Water Jetting, Cabling, and Vacuum Truck Services
• Provide both emergency and scheduled services.
• Services shall include high-pressure water jetting, mechanical cabling, and
vacuum truck operations for:
• Sewer mains and manholes
• Grease waste lines
• Domestic wastewater lines
3. General Plumbing Services
• Perform repairs and maintenance on piping systems, valves, and plumbing
fixtures.
• Services may be required for both interior and exterior systems, above ground
only.
4. Emergency Call-Out Services
• Respond to emergency or unscheduled service requests within two (2)
hours of notification.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this contract, the Contractor must meet the following minimum
requirements:
• At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in commercial plumbing
maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform plumbing services in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Possess a valid business license and hold all licenses and certifications required by
state and local plumbing codes.
• Maintain active insurance coverage, and adhere to the Airport's Insurance
Requirements (see attached - signature required).
• A Payment/Performance Bond in the amount of 50% will be required.
