Legal Notice

General Bids for specific improvements related to the Downtown Streetscape – Phase 3 –Electrical Building Connections for the Town of Ashland, Massachusetts will be received until 11:00 A.m. prevailing time, on December 12, 2024, after which time said bids will be electronically opened, forthwith online.

Estimated construction cost $625,000.

The work under this contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to install electrical wiring for services from back of sidewalks to buildings and transfer of electrical from above ground to underground throughout the downtown related to Phase 3 of the Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project. The work also includes modifications to existing traffic control lights and system by adding new pushbutton monopoles as shown on the plans and as described herein.

All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to M.G.L. c.30, §39M. and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL
