The Beyond Us and Them project strengthens and supports staff members' and stakeholders' individual wellbeing while creating a more collaborative and compassionate work environment for law-enforcement officers and other first responders, correctional officers and staff, incarcerated individuals, and community cohorts throughout Vermont. The council practice and other mindfulness techniques taught by Beyond Us & Them’s programs offer a powerful tool to engage individuals and families and create patterns for healthy communication, genuine understanding, connection, and healing
