WELLS 10 & 11 SEASONAL PFAS TREATMENT SYSTEM
TOWN OF YARMOUTH, MA
The Town of Yarmouth acting through its Department of Public Works is seeking bids for the Wells 10 & 11 Seasonal PFAS Treatment System.
Sealed General Bids for the Wells 10 & 11 Seasonal PFAS Treatment System (DWSRF-19119) will be received by the Yarmouth Water Department, located at 99 Buck Island Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, until 1:30 pm on April 15, 2026, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked to indicate the contents.
Sealed bids will be received for the following filed sub-bids:

Sealed sub-bids will be received by the Yarmouth Water Department, located at 99 Buck Island Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, until 1:30 pm on March 31, 2026, at which time and place said sub-bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The sub-bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked to indicate the contents.
The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of new raw water main, installation of two 12’ diameter GAC vessels and a prefiltration unit, vertical turbine well pump replacements, chemical storage and feed equipment installation, construction of a backwash infiltration lagoon, yard piping modifications, installation of emergency generators and liquid propane systems, and associated site improvements. The work includes one bid alternate. The Owner may choose, at their option, to include the alternate as outlined in Specification Sections 00301 and 01153.

Minimum wage rates as determined by the Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid opening to request, if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act also apply to this project.
