Description:

Submission: Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) Grants & Contracts Office, 2nd Floor, Ionkwakiohkwaroron Administration Building, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY 13655 no later than 3:30pm (Local Time), Thursday, August 21, 2025. No Public Opening will be conducted.

Description: SRMT is accepting separate competitive proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for the construction of approximately of approximately 2,617 square feet of interior office space to match existing building interiors and to include walls generally of metal stud framing, soundproofing insulation, painted gypsum wallboard with GWB accessories and trim, ceilings mixed of suspended acoustic grid and paint on existing exposed steel structure, flooring finishes and modifications to existing building systems includine new lighting, power and data, limiated sprinkler system work, limited alarm system modifications and HVAC ducting and control system modifications.

A Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025
beginning at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and is to be held at the SRMT's Community Service Building Boardroom #105, 850 State Rt 37, Akwesasne, NY 13655. A site visit will
be held directly after close of the meeting.
Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Domestic Preference, Proposal/Bid and
Contract Security are mandatory requirements of this call as well as the following
preferences : Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises & Veteran with
Disabilities Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises and
Veterans Business Enterprises.
In accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Native American Preference
Policy, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe will give preference in the award of a
Contract to approved Native American Owned Businesses/Companies, as
certified by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Compliance Department. Any
proponent claiming Native American Preference must give evidence to
support this claim with their submitted proposal. The successful Contractor,
as well as their Sub-Contractors, will be required to complete a Native American
Preference Employment Plan and Agreement.

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe reserves the right to accept any proposal, whether it is the lowest or not, or may reject any and all proposals.
