Request for Proposals

The City of Eureka, Missouri is accepting bids for the installation of trees in Lions Park.  Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Eureka Government Center, 120 City Hall Drive, Eureka, Missouri 63025.

Specifications are included in this document and on the City's website (www.eureka.mo.us) at no charge or deposit.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, to waive technicalities, to award on any bid that is most advantageous, and to make investigations concerning the experience and ability of the bidder to perform the work.  Bids shall be on forms included in the package and shall be signed by an authorized officer of the company.  Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "City of Eureka Lions Park Tree Planting" on the outside.

Each bidder shall familiarize themselves with the project site and be aware of the extent of the work required to complete the project.

Bids will be reviewed and the one deemed in the best interest of the City of Eureka will be accepted.

In connection with the review of responses to this bid invitation the City will take necessary measures to ensure that the apparent lowest and best bidder is not a debarred company.

Pursuant to Section 285.530 RSMo as a condition of the award of any contract in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), the successful bidder shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a Federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection to the contracted services.  Successful bidders shall also sign an affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection to the contracted services.

Please be advised, due to space constraints, the bid opening will not be public.  An itemized bid tabulation will be made available to bidders via email no later than 4:00 p.m. May 8, 2026.
