Alaska Intertie Legal Services IRFP
The Intertie Management Committee (IMC) is soliciting proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide comprehensive legal services. The IMC is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Alaska Intertie—a 170-mile, 345 kV transmission line connecting Interior and Southcentral Alaska, owned by the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) and operated in partnership with Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA), Matanuska Electric Association (MEA), and Chugach Electric Association (CEA).
The IMC operates under the Alaska Intertie Agreement (AIA). The IMC’s legal needs include governance, inter-utility coordination, and asset management.
