SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Project: 662-26-105, Replace Patient Elopement Systems Classification Code: Z1AA (Maintenance of Office Buildings) NAICS Code: 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors)
1. DISCLAIMER: This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation document currently exists. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes—it does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future and does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought.
2. BACKGROUND & SCOPE OF WORK: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify qualified and interested service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) contractors capable of providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to execute the replacement of the existing patient elopement platforms across 17 control points (doors). The areas of work for this project are strictly limited to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of Building 203.
Please be advised that this requirement is a limited brand name replacement restricted specifically to the WanderGuard Blue System. This brand name restriction is required to ensure seamless integration with the Vocera system already existing in other buildings across the campus. The project will update several previous iterations with new head-end equipment and software platforms; however, utilizing this specific system will allow for the direct reuse of existing cabling and much of the hardware.

3. PROJECT LOCATION: San Francisco VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94121.
4. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
