The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital located at 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 intends to negotiate a base year plus four (4) one (1) year option periods, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) fixed-priced contract. To provide the facility in which to perform ambulatory surgery for patients of the JAHVH including, but not limited to, Aesthesia Services, qualified Operating Room (OR) Nurses, and Technicians; operating microscope and instruments; and usual and customary supplies required during operative procedures at the Ambulatory Surgery Center as specified within the performance work statement (PWS).
Operative procedures at the ambulatory surgery center include but are not limited to Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and General Surgery. Services offsite in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about December 08, 2024. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation and (any subsequent amendments) from this website. No hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov) so that they receive notification of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. This is not a solicitation.

In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
