Vector Doppler Scoring/Vector Scoring Services (VDOPS/VSS) V

Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB, VA, has concluded their market research and intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for Vector Doppler Scoring / Vector Scoring Services requirement at Tyndall AFB, FL to Meggitt Defense Systems, Inc. of Irvine, CA.

VDOPS/VSS services provide end-game missile scoring data reports generated from onboard QF-16 and BQM-167 aerial target platforms transmitted to a Ground Station Unit (GSU). Services would also include program management, operation/field maintenance for GSUs and associated system test equipment, engineering support, equipment lifecycle management, and depot-level support for Aerial Gunnery Target Sets (AGTS) and associated equipment.

The anticipated award date is 1 January 2025. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Sources sought FA489024Q0004 was posted on January 11, 2024 for response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
