REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES FOR: EL TORO ROAD PROJECTS
Construction Administration and Construction Inspection Services for El Toro Road Resurfacing (Jeronimo to Trabuco); EL Toro Median Installation (Jeronimo to Trabuco); Jeronimo Widening (Jeronimo at El Toro Road); and Arterial Median Improvements (Trabuco at El Toro Road) projects.
El Toro Road Resurfacing (Jeronimo Road To Trabuco Road)
This Project consists of localized asphalt repairs and grinding and resurfacing of El Toro Road from the intersection of Jeronimo Road and El Toro Road to the intersection of Trabuco Road and El Toro Road.
El Toro Road Raised Medians
This project replaces the existing painted medians along El Toro Road from Jeronimo Road to Trabuco Road with raised landscaped medians with appropriate irrigation and hardscaped medians.
Median Improvements at Trabuco Road / El Toro Road
This project consists of removal of existing painted medians and/or surface mounted delineators with raised hardscaped medians on the north side of Trabuco Road at the intersection of Trabuco Road and El Toro Road with to improve traffic safety. In addition, this project would re-stripe the intersection to provide appropriate lane configurations at the intersections.
Jeronimo Widening at El Toro Road
This project widens the north side of Jeronimo Road at the intersection of Jeronimo Road and El Toro Road to correct a misalignment of Southbound Jeronimo Road through the intersection. The project requires removal of an existing block screen wall and the construction of a new block retaining/screen wall at the northwest corner of Jeronimo Road to accommodate the widening and allow for a defacto right turn lane from southbound Jeronimo to westbound El Toro Road. In addition, the project would add dual left turn lanes on eastbound and westbound El Toro Road.
