Notice is hereby given that the Harrison County Board of Supervisors, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids electronically at the Board Conference Room in the First Judicial District Courthouse in Gulfport, Mississippi, until 10:00 a.m. (CDT) on June 18, 2025 for the following:

ISIAH FREDERICKS BALLFIELD RENOVATIONS

Bids are invited for the construction of a two-story concession building. The work includes foundation, plumbing/electrical rough-ins, walls, roof trusses, roof decking, and door/window installation. The project is located in the CITY OF GULFPORT, HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The Harrison County Board of Supervisors, Mississippi, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, must be submitted in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.

All Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of

1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors.  The scope of work for this project shall require a Contractor to be classified in the following category: Building Construction.

Bid documents are being made available via digital copy by the website of www.harrisoncountybids.com . At this site, plans can be viewed at no charge and can hard copy or electronic documents can be obtained at the bidders expense. All Prospective Bidders and Plan Holders must have a valid email address for registration. Purchased bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. A view only copy of the plans, specifications, and proposal documents are also available at the office of Seymour Engineering, 925 Tommy Munro Drive, Suite G, Biloxi, Mississippi and may be examined during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday). The Seymour Engineering Project Manager is Kyle Tootle and can be contacted at the listed address or ktootle@seymoureng.com regarding the project.

Bids may be submitted electronically at www.harrisoncountybids.com until the time specified. Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Harrison County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to award said bid in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
