Provation Software Services

The East Services Branch, Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to Award a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order, on a sole source basis to Provation Software, Inc., 533 South 3rd Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Utilizing the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. §1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.

This requirement is to provide endoscopy software system services in support of Womack Army Medical Center’s Gastroenterology department. These services are subject to exclusions below, and during the maintenance service term, said company will provide the following for the licensed software: (a) correct reported failures of the licensed software to substantially perform in conformance with the documentation; (b) furnish, at no additional charge updates which ProVation makes generally available to WAMC under maintenance without an additional fee, collectively, updates however, installation, implementation, and other services or out -of-pocket costs in connection with the updates is not included in maintenance services; and (c) provide telephone support and/or remote access support per the Customer Support Handbook. Said company’s obligation described herein applies only to the current version of the licensed software and the immediate prior version. The maintenance services are further described in said company’s Support Handbook, which may berevised in, in its reasonable discretion, from time to time. Services listed below.

All responsible sources that are bonified authorized distributors “who can provide the software maintenance, brand name Provation MD for GI Maintenance / Provation MD for Pulm Maintenance manufactured by Provation Software Inc. may submit an authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer, capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
