2026 WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS

The Village of Arlington Heights will accept sealed bids electronically for the 2026 WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS until 10:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday March 17, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Part A - Water Main: Replace approximately 10,800 L.F. of 8" water main via open cut methods, including new water services, lead service line replacements, hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances.

Part B - Resurfacing: Complete surface restoration of approximately 11,000 L.F. of roadway, including asphalt mill and resurfacing, structure adjustments, and removal and replacement of select sidewalks, driveways, and curb and gutter.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in the training room at the Village of Arlington Heights Public Works, 222 North Ridge Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security.

Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130). Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions.

The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
