Description

Base Project: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to:



Remove and replace two large 5000KVA utility grade transformers with two 6000 KVA utility grade transformers.



Remove and replace a total of 16 smaller medium voltage transformers in the range of 30 KVA to 750 KVA.



Provide passive, anti-ram rated bollards in accordance with ASTM F2656 crash rating requirements (minimum M30/P1 or as directed by VA), installed per Specification Section 34 71 13. Bollards shall be placed a minimum of 3 feet from transformer pads, spaced no more than 5 feet apart, and removable where located within electrical working clearances, designed per project drawings.



Replace transformer pads, where required, with new pads meeting 4000 psi concrete strength and reinforcement per EK501 detail in the drawings.



All work completed in accordance with the specifications and contract drawings.



Deducts:



Bid Item I: (Alternate Deduct 1) 886 Calendar Days All Work of Bid Item I, less work to provide and install Transformer TF-50, as follows: Delete the furnishing and installation of install Transformer TF-50 as specified and indicated on the drawings.
