Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is hereby issuing a Market Survey for Gamified and Customizable Cybersecurity Training.



The purpose of this Market Survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the supplies and/or services outlined in this document. The responses to this Market Survey will help determine the acquisition strategy and whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or Socially & Economically Disadvantage Business (SEDB/8(a)) certified firms.



The FAA welcomes industry responses from business entities that self-assess current capability to meet all of the following must-haves of the FAA’s anticipated requirement:




  • Cybersecurity Training Required Features/Capabilities

    • Gamified

    • Customizable Capture the Flag (CTF) for both individual users and groups

    • Learning Track for both individual users and groups

    • Leaderboards

    • Multiple learning paths from beginner to expert

    • Training to address Offensive and Defensive Security, DevSecOps, Security Operations Centers (SOCs), Engineering, and Cloud

    • User licenses that can be reallocated (transferrable) among team members





Instructions for Submittals:



The FAA will only accept email submittals addressed to the FAA Primary Point of Contact of this Market Survey. The email subject line must include the SAM.gov announcement number followed by the company name. Individual e-mails message size (i.e., email body text plus any attachments) must not exceed 19MB.

All proprietary and/or confidential information contained in a submission must be marked appropriately.

Participation in this Market Survey notice is voluntary. Responses will be reviewed by FAA employees and a limited number of FAA support contractors working under non-disclosure agreements. Should a respondent require an NDA be signed between the respondent’s business entity and an FAA support contractor, please email the point of contact listed within this notice indicating so.



The FAA has the option of conducting one-on-one communications as deemed appropriate without the obligation to hold communications with all respondents.



A business entity responding to this notice neither qualifies respondents for, nor excludes respondents from, responding to a resulting SIR, if any.
