Bids will be opened and read publicly at the City Hall Annex, 912 16

day of December of 2025 or at such later date and place as may be then fixed.
Description of Work: The proposed work is officially known as “BUILDING DEMOLITION AT 1830 1

Street”, East Moline, Illinois, Job Number PM-D-2025-003 and is further described as demolition and clearing of buildings (residence and garage), foundation, if any, and all debris located at 1830 1
st
Street, East Moline, in Rock Island County, Illinois and legally described as SUPVR ASST MAP LOT 208 SHEET 60 TOWN OF EAST MOLINE, now in the City of East Moline; situated in the County of Rock Island, the State of Illinois, Parcel 08-35-217-006., together with sand and soil fills, grading, seeding, and all work necessary to complete the project by December 31

, 2025. The City of East Moline will be responsible for the asbestos inspection and removal of any asbestos found in said building.
Method of Payment: The Owner will make payment to the Contractor within 30 days after the completion and acceptance of the work. Payment will be made from existing funds of the City of East Moline, Illinois.
Rejection of Bids: The Owner may reject any or all proposals of persons, companies, or corporations who had not registered for plans and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
Performance Bond & Certificate of Insurance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract and a certificate of insurance.
