The City of Attleboro, MA invites sealed bids for the Annual Crack Sealant for 7/1/25 thru 6/30/26. Only Contractors who are pre-qualified with Mass Highway are eligible to obtain specifications as required by 720 CMR 5.00.
MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Extendo Pave Crack Sealing, for the project with an estimated value of $90,000 will be required. Awarding Authority reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional 12 month options. Valuation for purposes of MassDOT Prequalification is based on first year times three (3) to arrive at an estimated total value of all bid items. The estimated value provided in this Invitation to Bid is for one year. Vendors are expected to be able to provide their services over three (3) years at three (3) times the initial estimated value.
Specifications may be downloaded from the City’s website @ http://www.cityofattleboro.us/Bids.aspx or in person at Attleboro City Hall - Purchasing, 77 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703 between the hours of Mon/Wed/Thu: 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Tue 8:00 am-6:00 pm. Fri 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. Bids will be received until11:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in the Purchasing Office and at that time all bids will be publicly opened and read. Envelopes shall be sealed and plainly marked Crack Sealant Bid 6/4/25. All bids must remain in effect for forty-five days (45) Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays excluded. In accordance with M.G.L. 30 c 39M every bid shall be accompanied by a five (5) % bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, certified check or a Treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the awarding authority. The City of Attleboro reserves the right to reject any bid or portion of a bid, to waive any informalities in a bid and to award contract as shall be deemed in the best interest of the City. Award of contract may be subject to the availability of funding.
