The City of Attleboro is accepting sealed bids for the annual supply of chemicals for both the Water and Wastewater Departments.
Water Department Chemicals:
Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and Liquid Oxygen
Wastewater Department Chemicals:
Quick Lime, Ferric Chloride, Sodium Bisulfite, Non-Hazardous Alternative Carbon Source.
In accordance with M.G. L. Chapter 30 (b), the City of Attleboro, Massachusetts invites sealed bids for various Water and Wastewater Chemicals, period to commence July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. The Invitation For Bid may be obtained from the City’s website @ http://www.cityofattleboro.us/Bids.aspx. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 in the Purchasing Office 2

flr, Attleboro City Hall, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Envelopes shall be sealed and plainly marked “ANNUAL CHEMICALS BID”. All bids must remain in effect for forty-five (45) days Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays excluded. The City of Attleboro reserves the right to reject any bid or portion of a bid, to waive any informalities in a bid and to award contract as shall be deemed in the best interest of the City. Award of contract may be subject to the availability of funding.

Contract period will be July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Prices bid will firm for the entire contract period (7/1/25 – 6/30/26). The City of Attleboro may extend this contract two (2) additional one year periods so long as it is acceptable and in the interest of both contracting parties and the terms and conditions of the original contract are held firm.
