Solicitation Summary

The City of Gaithersburg is seeking Proposals to establish a Time and Material (T&M) term contract with a qualified Contractor to provide professional painting, surface treatment and interior finishes (herein after referred to as “Services”) at various City facilities (commercial facilities) on “as needed” basis . The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials (unless provided by the City ), tools and equipment required to provide such services specified in this solicitation .

The City of Gaithersburg operates 60+ facility and property sites, including 30+ buildings and 30+ parks, green spaces, and grounds (various City facilities) . The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland intends to use this Solicitation to select and enter into a Time and Materials (T&M) contract with a qualified Contractor to provide painting, surface repair, surface preparation and treatment. Minor construction activities, such as construction of non-load bearing walls, gypsum board installation and finishing, wooden deck board repair/replacement, wooden fence walls repair/construction, etc.  at various City facilities on an “as needed” basis.
