REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Information and Technology (OIT) is seeking market research information from industry to assist with the development and planning of the recompete Traveler Processing and Vetting Software (TPVS) 2.0. See attachments for more information. Companies who wish to respond to the RFI should send responses no later than July 22, 2025 to all listed Government personnel below via email. The email subject line must contain “CBP TPVS 2.0 RFI RESPONSE”. Failure to do so may result in information not being properly received by the Government.

This RFI is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, RFPs, or RFQs; nor does it constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that CBP will conduct an acquisition for these services (FAR clause 52.215-3). Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. CBP will not be responsible for any costs incurred in furnishing this information. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions will become the property of the Federal Government and will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future procurement, if any. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All information received resulting from this RFI will be used by CBP for Acquisition Planning and Market Research purposes only. Information received will be for internal CBP use only. However, your response may be releasable to the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552, and the DHS FOIA regulation, 6 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Part 5. Please note that Respondents to this RFI may not necessarily be notified of any results derived from a review of the information provided.
