EPCOR Transmission Inc. aims to develop a comprehensive, transparent, and non-proprietary Asset Health Index (AHI) and Risk Matrix framework to optimize asset management and support the 2027 General Tariff Application (GTA). The framework will be regulatory-compliant, fully owned by EPCOR, and free from reliance on proprietary vendor solutions. It will be flexible and adaptable to a changing asset mix, prioritizing critical assets and integrating with existing systems. The methodology will align with recognized industry standards and guidelines, providing a defensible, evidence-based approach to asset maintenance and replacement. The project will span three phases, from investigation to framework development and implementation planning, between Q4 2025 and Q4 2026. The selected vendor will deliver auditable methodologies, facilitate stakeholder engagement and training, and provide weekly updates to ensure alignment with EPCOR leadership.
