Foodservice consulting services

Reading Community City Schools is requesting quotes for foodservice consulting services to support our District. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with federal small purchase procedures.

Scope of Services & Requirements

Please provide a quote for the following consulting services:

• Service Type: Foodservice compliance consulting (NSLP support)
• Scope of Work Includes:
• Menu planning and nutritional analysis
• Administrative Review preparation and compliance support
• Procurement guidance and oversight
• Financial reporting support (P&L, cost analysis)
• On-site visits and technical assistance
• Service Frequency: monthly, quarterly and as needed
• Deliverables: Written reports, compliance documentation, training support
• Experience Requirements: Demonstrated experience with USDA Child Nutrition Programs and Administrative Reviews
• Pricing: Please include all fees (flat rate, hourly, or annual), as well as any additional costs
• Contract Term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

Buy American Provision (7 CFR 210.21(d))

While this solicitation is for consulting services, any recommendations involving the procurement of food or agricultural products must comply with the Buy American provision, requiring domestic products unless an allowable exception is documented.
