Notice is hereby given that sealed or electronic bids will be received by the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi
until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on July 10, 2025. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m., in the Board of Aldermen Board Room in City Hall located at 1018 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.

Official bid documents may be examined in the office of the City Clerk at Ocean Springs City Hall, 1018 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, 39564, at the office of the Design Engineer, Allred Stolarski Architects, 711 Church Street, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, 39564 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday or online at www.asaplans.com and www.oceanspringsbidscom . All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for online registration. All bid envelopes shall contain the bidder’s name and mailing address on the face of the envelope and the words “SEALED BID TO BE OPENED AT 2:00 P.M. (CENTRAL TIME), JULY 10, 2025 FOR “TACONI GYM WINDOW REPLACEMENT, MAGNOLIA AVENUE, OCEAN SPRINGS, MS”. The bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility number or a statement that the bid enclosed is less than $50,000.00 shall appear on the outside or exterior of the envelope or other packaging of such bids. Bid envelopes or other packaging that do not meet the aforementioned labeling requirements shall not be opened or considered. Bids must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the City of Ocean Springs in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, duly executed by Bidder and an acceptable surety.

When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. When submitting a bid electronically, the authorized signature may be a hand- written blue ink signature or be an electronic signature. When bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal.

An optional Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on location at 711 Magnolia Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564 at 10:00 A.M. (Central Time) on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

The project is funded by the City of Ocean Springs. The successful bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local requirements contained in the Contract Documents as identified in the bid proposal packet.

The City of Ocean Springs reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any informality. Bids may be held by the City of Ocean Springs for the purpose of review for a period not to exceed Ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.
