REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

Waste Water Treatment Services

The Town of Somerset (the “Town”) is seeking proposals for Waste Water Treatment Services. The Town of Somerset, MA, through its Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners, is soliciting proposals for wastewater treatment plant operating services and sludge treatment and processing services to 1) meet MADEP onsite certification and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No. MA0100676 requirements, 2) assist in operating the wastewater treatment plant, 3) assist in conforming regulatory permit sampling requirements are met, and 4) prepare and submit MADEP and EPA compliance reports. A copy of NPDES Permit No. MA0100676, dated March 26, 2024, can be provided to any proposer upon written request.

Proposals shall be submitted to the Office of the Town Administrator, Town Hall, 140 Wood St Somerset MA, 02726, on or before 1:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025.   If, at the time of the scheduled due date, the Town Hall is closed due to uncontrolled events such as fire, snow, ice, wind or unforeseen building closure, the proposal opening will be postponed until 1:00 PM on the next business day on which the Town Hall is opened for business. Proposals will be accepted until that date and time.
