Description

The work includes replacing combination smoke / carbon monoxide (CO) detectors with standalone smoke detectors and standalone CO detectors for twenty (20) Living Units at William Head Institution, Correctional Service Canada located at 6000 William Head Rd, Metchosin BC, V9C 0B5.
The institution has a Mircom FleX-Net fire alarm system.
It also includes replacing combination fire strobe and buzzers and repair, patching, and painting of wall and ceiling finishes affected by the work.
It is desirable to have easily available, relatively inexpensive, long-life, reliable, non-Mircom CO detectors.
Specifications and Drawings will be included and posted in Phase two Invitation to Tender.
