Excavating and Backfilling Construction Holes

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That proposals for Excavating and Backfilling Construction Holes at Various locations in Suffolk County, New York, for the period of May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, will be received by the Suffolk County Water Authority not later than 11:00 a.m. on December 13, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york .

Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites www.scwa.com ; or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york . Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.

Apprenticeship Agreement: The Suffolk County Water Authority requires, pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 816-b, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under this Contract, that are registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor pursuant to the requirements of New York Labor Law Article 23. Evidence of such agreements for both contractors and subcontractors, if any, must be submitted with the bid.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.
