Description:

Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH) is seeking a vendor to provide the subscription licensing and support for its Covidien Vital Sync Virtual Patient Monitoring Platform (VPMP). VitalSync allows for nursing-patient assignments to be uploaded into their display monitor and for patient alarms to be pushed directly to the assigned bedside nurse via the Cerner CareAware device per predetermined and patient specific parameters. Escalation of
unanswered alarms also ensures proper accountability and chain of command.
Vendor must be an authorized partner or certified by Covidien to provide VPMP and is to provide documentation in order to evidence this in the form of certifications.
