Description

The work includes demolition and removal of an aboveground fuel filtration system, construction of a new filtration system, electrical cabling, cabinetry, and incidental related work located at the LP Fuel Farm at Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia. The existing fuel filtration system includes a centrifugal pump, valves, piping, and filtration vessels. Installation of the new fuel filtration system includes a vertical centrifugal pump, three vertical filter/separators, control valves, piping, and supports. All work is located within and existing concrete slab with curb containment. No excavation is required, however; electrical work is included to accommodate the new fuel filtration system and electrical requirements.
