This Sources Sought Notice is issued in accordance with FAR Part 10 for market research purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted in response to this notice.

2. Place of Performance
Darby Military Community (DMC), Livorno, Italy
3. Acquisition Information
The 414th Contract Support Brigade (CSB) is conducting market research to identify potential companies for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction projects at a U.S. Army Garrison Installation near Livorno, Italy under FAR Part 36.
Scope of Work:
Includes Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) efforts, primarily associated with Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization of real property inventory through repair, maintenance, and new construction.
Estimated Magnitude of Construction:
More than $10,000,000 (in accordance with FAR 36.204(h)).
4. Project Description
Potential work includes (but is not limited to): Design Development (DB projects) Major repair, renovation, and alteration of active facilities. Grading, water & sewer lines, painting, roofing. Renovation of interiors, new building construction. Electrical substations, HVAC, fire suppression, fuel pipelines. Environmental remediation (asbestos, lead-based paint, petroleum contamination). Utility infrastructure, roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, irrigation.
5. Purpose of Sources Sought
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to: Identify firms with the capability, interest, and qualifications to perform projects of this magnitude. Ensure adequate competition among potential responsible contractors. Address questions, recommendations, or industry concerns.
Prior government contract experience is NOT required to submit a response.
6. Submission of Responses
Interested firms shall submit a Capabilities Statement (max 5 pages) including:
Commercial brochures and marketing materials may be submitted but will not count toward the 5-page limit.
Clarifications and/or questions must be submitted separately via Word document or email and will not count toward the 5-page limit.
7. SUBMISSIONS: Please submit your capabilities statements via email to jimmy.j.amaya.civ@army.mil and joseph.c.freeman.civ@army.mil by the due date specified in the announcement. The electronic submission should be in either Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF).
