ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Bids for Fort Smith Public Schools – Pavement Replacement at: School Service Center Bus Area at 3205 Jenny Lind Road, Building H, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Clark Contractors, LLC and Fort Smith Public Schools will be accepting bids until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The following bid packages will be bid at this time as listed hereafter:
1. Select Demolition
2. Handrails
3. Painting
4. Earthwork & Utilities
5. Concrete Paving
6. Cast-in-place Concrete
7. Pavement Markings
8. Asphalt Court Resurfacing & Striping
9. Aluminum Canopies
PROCESS FOR SUBMITTING BIDS:
Bids will be received by Clark Contractors, LLC via email dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net and/or thru Building Connected. A Bid Form will be made available on Building Connected or by request to
dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net . Bids will be privately opened by Clark Contractors, LLC, Fort Smith Public Schools, and MAHG Architecture. A 5% bid bond or cashier’s check drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid is required.
EXAMINATION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS:
Bidding documents, including addenda, may be examined at the following locations:
1. MAHG Architecture, located at 6400 Riley Park Drive, Fort Smith, AR 72916.
2. Clark Contractors, LLC, located at 4886 W Pauline Whitaker Pkwy, Suite 290, Rogers, AR 72758.
3. Building Connected (email dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net for invitation).
Obtaining contract documents through any source other than Clark Contractors or their representatives is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information. Contract documents obtained through Clark Contractors, or their representatives are considered the official set of the contract documents and take precedence should any discrepancies occur. The official version of the complete set of the contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from Clark Contractors, LLC, located at 4886 W Pauline Whitaker Pkwy, Suite 290, Rogers, AR 72758; Phone: (479) 268-6282, dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net , and Building Connected.
OBLIGATIONS OF BIDDERS:
Successful bidders providing a complete, responsive, and responsible bid will be required to execute (without alterations) a subcontract agreement with Clark Contractors based on the Clark Master Subcontract, Project Schedule, and Clark Scope Sheet. Additionally, bidders must comply with all requirements of the Clark Contractors, LLC Sample Certificate of Insurance.
Clark Contractors, LLC and MAHG Architecture will host an onsite walk to review existing conditions at the project site (3205 Jenny Lind Road, Fort Smith, AR) at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 29, 2025. All participating parties will rendezvous at the parking lot adjacent Building “H”.
All questions during the bidding process shall be addressed to Clark Contractors at dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net . Deadline for questions is 4:00 PM central on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
All bidders must submit a current Clark Prequalification Form to Clark prior to submitting their bid for this project. Contact David McWilliams via dmcwilliams@clarkcontractors.net for more instructions.
Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors and shall be licensed before a bid is submitted.
No bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
