Notice of Intent to Award Sole-Source - Whole Fresh Cadavers for Fort Cavazos Joint Emergency Medical Training Exercise - (JEMX)

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch, Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, MEDCOM, Fort Cavazos, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, an other than small business, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for supply of whole fresh cadavers at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Cavazos, 76544, with delivery on or about 5 June 2025. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621991, and the size standard is $40 Million.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center supplies. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch, Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West intends to make a sole source award to University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas 75284.
