SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District will be soliciting proposals for the construction of a single-story Preservation of The Force & Family Facility to support reserve guardian angel units at Davis-Monthan, Tucson, AZ. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following Brand-Name Sole Source Requirements:
Door Locks: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Best CORE MAX keying systems (keys and cores) to be installed for all doors that are included in this project. Superior Hardware Products and/or Southern Lock (GSA supplier) are the only two authorized vendors for this keying system. Best CORE MAX equipment will ensure consistent technology and meet the Air Force Reserve Criteria.
Fire Alarm Panel/Transceiver: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Monaco MAAP-X Transceiver in accordance with paragraph 6.5.3.4 of the "Davis Monthan Design Compatibility Guide 2017 edition." Monaco Equipment will ensure consistent technology and meet the Air Force Reserve Criteria requirements.
***This is NOT a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if
any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement,
they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in
this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and
must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if
the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.***
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall
be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later
than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 25 June 2025 to
