INVITATION TO BID
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the restoration of site walls at the Fairhaven Town Hall located at 40 Center Street in Fairhaven, MA, in accordance with the documents prepared by architects the Spencer Preservation Group.
The scope of the work includes
Restoration of existing stone masonry retaining wall to include dismantling of existing and rebuilding.
General bidders must be DCAMM certified in the category Historic Masonry or Historic Building. All bids must include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Update Statement. General Bidders shall have completed similar work on at least 3 buildings listed in the State Register of Historic Places within the past 5 years.
General Bids due September 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for pick up at www.biddocsonline.com. It may be viewed electronically and hardcopy requested, beginning on August 27, 2025.
A Pre Bid Conference will be held at the Fairhaven Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, on September 3, 2025 at 11:30 AM. While attendance is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged.
All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including G.L. c.149, sections 44A through 44H, as amended.
