| Solicitation Document Description: | The City’s Solid Waste Management Services (SWMS) seeks professional engineering services for the assessment, design, construction and post construction oversight of the modernization and upgrade of the City’s interior lighting and control systems at six (6) of its Transfer Stations (TS) and modernization and upgrade of the City’s interior light and control systems, emergency lights and electrical equipment at three (3) of its Collection Yards (YD). As further described in Part 3 (Requirements for Deliverables) and Part 2 the Agreement (the "Project"). |
| Specific Conditions for Procurement: |
Suppliers must demonstrate the corporate (company) experience in Part 4, Section 2, Table 4B-1 – Corporate Experience by providing detailed descriptions of completed projects, including design and engineering services for the site construction, as follows:
.1 Suppliers must have successfully completed three (3) projects involving the delivery of interior and emergency lighting systems, as well as electrical equipment upgrades work on facilities and administration buildings. In these projects, the Supplier must have acted as the prime consultant, providing engineering services throughout the entire project lifecycle, including the construction phase. .1. Among these three (3) projects, at least two (2) must involve upgrades to the interior and emergency lighting with a minimum total capital cost of $2.4 million. .2. Among these three (3) projects, at lest one (1) must involve upgrades to interior lighting or electrical equipment at municipal facilities and administration buildings, with a minimum total capital cost of $1million. .2 The Supplier’s reference projects must have been successfully commissioned and, at a minimum, achieved Substantial Performance as defined in the Construction Act, within the last ten (10) years. As further described in Part 4 – Form B (Technical Proposal and Qualifications). |
