Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO)19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking a vendor who can install the network based, Lynx Duress and Emergency Notification System that will enable staff to alert Police of issues. Police and key personnel can notify groups or all staff during an emergency. The Lynx Messenger enables popups alerts to override computers during emergencies. Popup alerts are a very powerful way to get employees attention as most employees are working at their computers. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, site inspections, Testing and necessary supervision for the installation and configuration of a of a Brand Name or Equal Lynx duress/panic alarm system for the Montana Veterans Healthcare System (MTVHS) to include the Medical Center and outlying clinics. All the software at the clinics will be connected back to the server that s already installed at the Fort Harrison Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: LYNX System

The work to be performed, is to provide the Lynx Guide server software only model number: 780-LYNXS-SW-05 (with 5,000 server seats), two hundred (200) Lynx-Key Pro licenses, to include a total of one thousand five hundred and fifty (1,550) more Lynx-Key Pro licenses that will be added. Sixty-two (62) 950-LYNX- KEYPRO, F9-F11 PC based keyboard alarms that operate logging on, logging off or locked with a monthly test feature of twenty-five (25) clients each, for a total of one thousand seven hundred and fifty (1,750) licenses needed. The Lynx software will also support the ability to expand the system for future expansion of software and hardware. Alarms will also need to able to be communicate over the existing VA Police radios via the 950-LYNX-DISP-3 network appliance, which requires a handheld Police radio to be provided for permanent installation for the 950- LYNX-DISP-3 (as well as one for testing).
