This notice is a correction to the previously posted presolicitiation notice, which corrects the procilicitation number to N4425525R5000 from N4425525F5000. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors NAVFAC NW, located in Silverdale Washington, intends to solicit for the provision of Wood Recycling and Organic Materials Composting services for the various Naval Base Kitsap installations within the Navy Region Northwest, including Bangor, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Bremerton, Keyport, Indian Island, Jackson Park Hospital, and Manchester.
The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and 4 one-year option periods for renewal, at the discretion of the government. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, (Size Standard of $47 million). This solicitation is a small business set aside.
Required services must be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be available at the time of solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 01, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
