MOWING SERVICES FOR ACID MINE DRAINAGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS

MDE is requesting Price Bids from qualified contractors. The contractor shall provide mowing and brush/small tree removal services at Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) treatment system sites (29 sites total) in western Allegany and Garrett Counties (see attachment B – Site Locations and Detail Information). The work consists of mowing service paths, parking areas, berms, embankments, and access roads at each Acid Mine Drainage System. The contractor will be required to supply all labor, equipment, and supplies, fuel, etc. to complete the work at all sites once before July 15 and once during the month of October.  The AMD treatment system locations, the mowing limits, and the type of mowing needed are shown on attachment B, Site Locations and Detail Information. Any brush and debris shall be disposed of along the edges of the brush hogged areas.
