Leica Equipment Preventative Maintenance and Services

SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center, 2215 Fuller R., Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Leica Preventative Maintenance and Services. NAICS Code 334516, size standard 1,000 employees. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Leica Microsystems Systems, Inc. (10 Parkway North, Ste. 300, Deerfield, IL 60015), for this procurement due to the specialized nature of this procurement. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to service the requirement located at the LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan, for the period of November 01, 2025 – October 31, 2026, in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:00pm Eastern on 8/27/25.
